History

Guru Granth Sahib Vidya Kender was founded in 1980 by the great visionary, Late S. Hukam Singh Ji, Speaker of the Lok Sabha and later Governor of Rajasthan. The Kender is built, on 2.5 Acres of land gifted by S. Faqir Singh Ji Maker, of Delhi.

The foundation stone and the Nishan Sahib was laid by Panth Ratan Sant Baba Harbans Singh Ji (Kar-Sewa Wale) & Gyani Sant Singh Ji Maskeen along with the Panj Pyaras as per Sikh traditions.
