Student sponsorships, technical sponsorships and educational sponsorship schemes are available.

Average annual expenditure per student (lodging, boarding, uniforms etc.) is around Rs 90000/- Average annual expenditure for professional/technical course is around   Rs 50,000/- per student.

Registration

Sri Guru Granth Sahib Vidya Kender is a Registered Society under Registration No. S/61714/2008 under Act XXI-1860.

All donations are exempted from Income Tax under 80G.  Annual accounts of the institution are audited by a qualified Chartered Accountant and balance sheet is submitted to Department of Income Tax as per Government rules.

Appreciation

  • Prominent individuals, various Government and other non-Government authorities have commended the uniqueness of the institution. The Delhi State Government has awarded a shield for outstanding humanitarian work done by the Kender.
  • S Surjit Singh Barnala, Ex Minister Chemical, Fertilizer and Food laid the foundation stone of the Activity Block.
  • Shri P R Kumar Mangalam, Ex Minister of Power, Non-Conventional Energy Sources inaugurated the Administrative Block
  • Governor of Delhi Shri Jagmohan inaugurated the modern Computer Lab.
  • Delegation of Sikh intellectuals from J & K led by Dr. Jagmohan Singh, Chairman All Parties Co-ordination, accompanied by Dr. Joginder Singh Shan from Kashmir and S. Devinder Singh Bargaon visited and appreciated the work.
  • Shri Kapil Mishra Hon’ble Minister for Water, Tourism, Art & Languages Delhi Govt. visited the Kender and presided over the Gurmat Monthly Function.
  • Shri Kartar Singh local MLA , S. Harjinder Singh Khanna & S. Kartar Singh Kochhar Ex. Member of DSGMC attended the Gurmat Programmes hosted by students.
  • Mrs. Gursharan Kaur wife of Dr. Manmohan Singh, along with Mrs. Ishar Judge Ahluwalia, wife of Dr. Montek Singh Ahluwalia Deputy Chairman Planning Commission visited the Kender and appreciated the efforts of the Kender.
  • Shri H.S. Hanspal & Dr. Manjit Singh, member National Minority Commission visited the kender.
  • Dr. Jaspal Singh Vice Chancellor Punjabi University Patiala graced the Kender couple of time.
  • Mrs Sheila Dixit (Ex. Chief Minister of Delhi) visited the Kender numerous times.
  • Mr. Sehbaj Ali of National Minority Development Financial Corporation visited the Kender and appreciated the efforts of the Kender.
  • S. Vikramjit Singh Sahney of Sun Foundation who developed the Computer Centre and sponsored Skill Development Courses.

Sri Guru Granth Sahib Vidya Kender Andheria Morh, Chhatarpur, New Delhi is doing an excellent seva as per Guru Sahib's teachings. Students from the remote villages of India avail education, lodging & boarding facilities with donation from all the communities.
